Here at Momentum Learning Services we are committed to providing person centered supports to individuals who have goals to acquire new skills or reduce the barriers that interfere with their opportunity for independence, community access and inclusion. Our approach is based on the ethical and evidenced based practices of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA).
Some of the key components of our support services are
- We provide our services in the participant’s home, school or other community setting.
- We use evidenced-based and person-centered approaches when designing and delivering support services.
- We believe that carer participation and interdisciplinary collaboration is critical to successful goal attainment.
- Supports are grounded in the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA).
- To ensure we are outcome oriented, we collect data continuously on a secure electronic platform and base ongoing support delivery decisions on this information.
- We are a registered provider for several support categories under the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
How Services Happen
- Once we receive your enquiry, we can arrange a free, 30 minute phone consult to discuss your needs.
- You complete some initial paperwork and you are assigned a behavioural consultant.
- An initial assessment is conducted for the purpose of identifying existing skills and determining the scope and types of services required to achieve the participant's goals.
- An individually tailored program is designed for the participant
- Additional team members are assigned, initial training on the program is conducted, including carer training.
- Support services are delivered.
- The program is routinely reviewed, tracking the participant's progress and the program is adapted accordingly.
